The Auckland Hearts have gone through to the final next weekend, despite their match with the Northern Spirit being abandoned due to rain.
Not a ball was bowled in Hamilton, as rain washed away any chance of play. Luckily for the Hearts it would be enough to see them finish second as their one point lead going into the weekend was retained. Chasing team Wellington were also frustrated by weather, making it impossible for them to leap frog Auckland.
The Hearts will travel to Canterbury to play in the final next weekend.
