Everything is clicking for the Central Hinds in the 50-over format this season. Eighteen-year-old Taranaki seamer Monique Rees ripped through the Blaze on Saturday with her maiden five-wicket bag, after having entered the match with just one List A wicket from six Hallyburton Johnstone Shield matches in green.
Her form was symptomatic of a resurgent young side on the up after a luckless start to the Burger King Super Smash earlier this season.

Rees claimed an outstanding 5-14 off just 6.2 overs as the Hinds rolled their normally feisty opponents for 75 inside 28 overs.
Blaze fell well short, having been chasing 200 after the Hinds posted exactly 199 in their 50 overs with Esther Lanser run out on 38 on the final ball.
Earlier, Kerry Tomlinson had top-scored in her 99th domestic one-day match with 67, receiving enough support to keep the momentum flowing until the 43rd over.
It was a crucial knock, with star opener Natalie Dodd having a rare off-day at the top and dismissed by Deanna Doughty in the fifth over.
But in reply, Blaze's top score was just a desperate unbeaten 17 from keeper Jess McFadyen as Rees and Rosemary Mair ripped through the top six, Blaze never recovering from 37 for six.
