Good warm-up win for White Ferns

The White Ferns enjoyed a comfortable 146-run win over India B as they warmed-up for this week’s quadrangular tournament in Chennai.

Captain Haidee Tiffen struck 45 and Suzie Bates 55 as they Kiwis put on 304 for seven in hot conditions at the Central Polytechnic Ground.

Off-spinner Aimee Mason then took four for 29 as India was reduced to 99 for seven, before a late surge boosted their score.

However, the Indians were eventually removed with 6.5 overs to spare.
