Indian duo make hundreds

New Zealand Under-19 saw India Under-19 duo Virat Kohli and Ravi Teja both struck centuries on the opening day of the first youth Test at Lincoln’s Bert Sutcliffe Oval.

Teja made 105 in an opening stand of 105, while Kohli came to the crease later to post 113 as the tourists ended on 338 for six, after host captain Andrew de Boorder won the toss and elected to field.

Five New Zealand bowlers took one wicket each, with Central Districts' George Worker the pick with one for 54 off 11 overs.
