No major surgery for Oram

BLACKCAPS all-rounder Jacob Oram will not require any major surgery on his finger injury.

Oram injured the ring finger of his left hand during the first Chappell-Hadlee ODI against Australia in Wellington last month.

As previously announced, Oram may require surgery after the tournament, but should be fit to play in the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Despite reports elsewhere, there is no need for any major procedures.
