I’m looking forward to getting back and working closely with the rest of the Canterbury coaching staff and of course the players with a focus on making Canterbury cricket leaders in all levels of the game" said Wiseman of his appointment.

“I believe having Paul involved with the development of our best up and coming talent is a major coup and he will contribute significantly to Canterbury Cricket’s coaching programmes. It is also important from my perspective that we are seeing past, successful players wanting to contribute to the continued success of Canterbury Cricket and the development of our best young players” said Canterbury Cricket CEO Lee Germon.
